$6.7M Stolen From Dead CEO’s Crypto Wallet

n an alarming turn of events, a South Korean hacker managed to pilfer $6.7 million worth of digital assets from crypto wallets that belonged to the late CEO with investments in Korbit and Bitstamp cryptocurrency exchanges.
Recently, the Eastern Seoul District Court delivered a stern sentence of six years in prison and an $89,000 fine to the unidentified 39-year old cybercriminal who hacked into NXC founder Kim Jeong-ju's wallet. Without question, justice was done for Kim.
Kim’s business accomplishments included the South Korean gaming powerhouse Nexon, a company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. An enthusiastic proponent of cryptocurrencies, Kim was also responsible for obtaining Korbit - South Korea's first ever crypto exchange and now one of its largest. He proceeded to acquire Bitstamp, Europe's oldest cryptocurrency trading platform.
