o better serve its increasing number of clients interested in Bitcoin, U.S. asset manager Fidelity Investments will now offer BTC trading to retail investors.

On November 28, the company sent an email to a group of its users announcing that they would need a Fidelity brokerage account in order to fund a new Fidelity Crypto account, as reported by industry site TheBlock.co.

You will be able to engage in commission-free BTC and Ethereum (ETH) trading. However, you need to read and accept various disclosures beforehand, which include a risk statements, that highlights the risks not normally associated with traditional markets.

Considering that the firm manages $4.5 trillion worth of assets, its latest move could provide a major boost for institutional adoption. Moreover, this development is one of several decisions the company has taken recently to expand its clients’ exposure to crypto assets.
