he tech giant Google has announced a partnership with Coinbase, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, to enable crypto payments for its cloud services. Under the agreement, Google will also use Coinbase's custody service, Coinbase Prime.

In the early 2023, Google will allow their customers to start making crypto payments for cloud services.

Crypto payments will begin with a small group of Web3 industry participants. Google will also use Coinbase Prime, the company's secure storage service.

"Our goal is to make building in Web3 simpler and quicker, and by partnering with Coinbase, developers are one step closer to that," said Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud.

"We could not ask for a better partner to help us execute our vision of building a trusted bridge into the Web3 ecosystem," said Brian Armstrong, co-founder and CEO of Coinbase.
