Nicholas Truglia 18-Month Sentence

or his part in a scheme to steal millions in cryptocurrency, hacker Nicholas Truglia was sentenced to 18 months, 12 of which he has already served. This according to Bloomberg News.
Nicholas Truglia, 25, pleaded guilty to conspiracy of wire fraud last year and will now serve 18 months in prison according to Bloomberg News. During the hearing, Truglia also agreed upon paying $20 million in restitution.
In May 2019, Terpin won a $75.8 million judgment against Truglia in civil court, which was one of the largest judgements against an individual at the time.
Truglia, whose assets include $53 million in cryptocurrencies, art, and jewellery, the hearing revealed, agreed to pay over $20 million in restitution.
